semi dissappointed

Lescott makes a rare mistake

Well you've got to look at that as an opportunity lost. 1-1 against 10 men in the away leg and we sat back and tried to play out the draw. Can't blame Lescott too much, pretty sure it must have been a foul by Wright-Phillips. Now we need to grab a goal at Goodison...This is possibly a better situation that having to nervously sit back and defend from the off. We are still in the game (a lot of blues would have taken 1-2 before the game started). The 2nd leg will be a tremendous occasion...really looking forward to it. COYB!

Chelsea 1 - 2 Everton, Carling Cup Semi-Final 1st leg

Looks like Manny Fernandes is coming back to Goodison after ditching us at the last minute to not play Champions League football with Valencia (3 appearances). A loan will suit everyone...he's got to establish himself at Goodison and prove he's worth a permanent move because ultimately Steven Pienaar has taken his place pretty well. If nothing else he'll fill in whilst Pienaar is away and Osman is getting back to fitness. He can't command anything like the £12m transfer fee Valencia paid for him now.

I think Manny si a great signign now. We should be able to get him in the summer for half price, he adds more class to our midfield and with Arteta, Pienaar and him, alongside Neville/Carsley plus Cahill and Osman, gives us so many options. We are really starting to get a squad that can win things together.
