Looking through old maps and plotting the history of Hunts Cross, Garston & Woolton

Have looking through map versions going back to 1840 to find out the history of south Liverpool...in particular Hunts Cross and the area we live in. There seems to have been a place called Honey Hall and Rose Farm where we live now although I have never seen any trace of it when I walk round nowadays.

If a map OS map says it's a rough track then get ready to scramble

Spent hours stumbling through the gorgeous wonderful Scottish countryside, sad to see that the last round of storms have devastated the forests there, at times it was like witnessing the aftermath of the Tungushka Event, so many pines toppled from the roots, many of them across our intended path.
